Griffin Primary School is looking for a dedicated and passionate person with experience in multi-agency working.

The successful candidate will be committed to improving the lives of families in our community and supporting the Leadership Group to deliver the school’s vision of inclusive practice and ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding.

In conjunction with the Leadership Group/ SENDCo, the candidate will be a DSL. They will also be responsible for implementing a targeted programme of support to raise attendance, improve outcomes for families on CIN and CP plans or LAC, set up or deliver courses and liaise with outside agencies to provide other outreach services to parents/carers. Our successful candidate will also work directly with students to support inclusion.

It is a very exciting time to join Griffin as we have a brand new Forest School – our Forest in the City – and a wonderful new Library created by the Book Trust!

Our Curriculum is designed to support our students to experience outside, creative and hands-on learning within a positive culture.

Our Federation with our partner academy and our work with TEFAT brings huge opportunities for collaboration and professional development and shared ways of working. Staff are exceptionally well supported which helps them to develop as strong practitioners and leaders at Griffin.
